OUR
TASKS AND DEMANDS
-
To struggle for the overthrow of the ruling capitalist regime in Iran and the
destruction of the rule of capital through a general political strike and an
armed insurrection as the means for establishing a revolutionary dictatorship
of the proletariat and workers’ democracy.

To found a soviet republic as the means for establishing the rule of workers’
and poor peasants’ councils as the only regime capable of solving the problems
of the revolution.

To build the revolutionary vanguard party of the proletariat together with the
workers’ vanguard in Iran through the formation and the expansion of workers’
socialist cells and clandestine action committees in the main economic,
industrial and rural units.

To create city, town and village councils for the implementation of the demand
for workers’ and poor peasants’ control over production and distribution with
the aim of realising the demand for a planned economy based on workers’
management.

To form and expand workers’ independent organisations based on workers’
democracy.

To defend the right to self-determination for all nationalities, including the
right to secede and form an independent state (the duty of communists from
oppressed nationalities is to form a workers’ and peasants’ republic and to
fight against any form of nationalist deviation).
- To abolish the death penalty and to
eradicate any discrimination based on beliefs, sex, race or political
affiliation.
- To defend the formation of a
democratic constituent assembly based on the organs of self-organising toilers
(in the event of the absence of the widespread activity of workers’ and
peasants’ councils).

To build an international revolutionary vanguard party for the overthrow of
capitalism and world imperialism and the formation of a socialist society and
the continuation of the revolution until the founding of a communist society.

To arm the workers and poor peasants until the founding of socialism and the
withering away of any form of state.

To defend the revolutionary struggles of the working class internationally.
