Maziar Razi
Maziar Razi is the first Iranian Trotskyist. In 1968, as a leading student activist of anti-Vietnam War protests in London, he joined the International Marxist Group (IMG), the then British section of the United Secretariat of the Fourth International (USFI). In subsequent years, together with other Iranian Trotskyists, he formed an Iranian Commission of the USFI and was one of the principle leaders of the Socialist Workers' Party (Hezb-e Kargaran-e Socialist),
During the last 37 years M. Razi has been a revolutionary socialist and contributed a great deal, organisationally and theoretically, to the Iranian working class movement. He is now the editor of kargar.org, spokesperson of the Iranian Revolutionary Socialists’ League (IRSL), and a political activist in the Iranian Workers' Solidarity Network.
